Local Owner Sells Main Street Property for Over $6.4 Million

Desert King International acquired the industrial building at 745 Main St. in Chula Vista, California, for more than $6.4 million, or $275 per square foot, from a local owner. The buyer is a producer of natural vaccine adjuvants based on Quillaja saponins used in dozens of commercial human and veterinary vaccines manufactured by some of the world’s largest laboratories.

The 23,290-square-foot industrial facility is located a few miles from the Interstate-805 freeway. The property features 33 parking spaces, a fenced lot, building signage, 24-foot clear heights, four drive-in bays and six loading docks, two truck wells, skylights and 1,200-amp heavy power.

Michael Mossmer and Patrick Connors of Voit Real Estate Services represented the buyer. Ricky James, also with Voit, represented the seller in the deal.
